The 12 recommendations are the outcome of completed research; the materials that will carry them forward are not. This page is the channel for anyone who wants to take part in the project’s next stage.
RARE grew out of academic research and continues on the same logic: nothing is published without verification, and verification takes more than one person. The planned materials — the full text of the 12 recommendations as an accessible PDF, EPUB, audio and a braille-ready edition — have not been produced yet, and building them is open to anyone who would like to contribute.
Collaboration is not limited to the materials. Equally welcome are translating the content into other languages, testing the site and the files with assistive technology, and partnerships with educational institutions, accessibility offices and research groups that would like to apply the recommendations and report back on the experience.
